Q: Is this artwork drawn by hand or computer generated?

A: Every single piece of my artwork is drawn free-hand and has numerous layers of texture and detail.  I am classically trained from art school as a traditional artist (using pen, paper & paint) but I also work digitally (using a large drawing tablet as my canvas).  This allows me much more freedom to make adjustments as I create the perfect piece as a custom order.

Q: HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

A:  It’s simple!  Send us an email to petdoodles2015@gmail.com to get started.  Because each piece is completely custom, we do not use a standard order form.  We will respond to your email directly & begin the conversation to collaborate on the perfect Pet Doodle for you.  Please be sure to see our PHOTO REFERENCE TIPS section below to make sure you send us great pics of your pet!

 

Q: WHAT KIND OF PICTURES SHOULD I SEND YOU?

A:  PHOTO REFERENCE TIPS

  • Professional photos are not needed, but good quality photos show more detail.  Smartphones can take great photos.
  • Please use good lighting  — sunlight works well
  • Please try to get a picture of their full body (tail and feet included!)
  • Try to get down on the floor with your pet so they are looking straight at you — photo angles where the pet is looking up are not as flattering
  • Feel free to share your Instagram link if you post pics of your pet frequently

Q: what are my order options?

Our basic order will create your personalized, hand drawn Pet Doodle of your pet.  It  comes to you as a 8 x 10 print that is ready to frame.  Once we have your Pet Doodle created, we can print on a variety of fun products such as coffee mugs, tote bags & Christmas ornaments.  Please see our Shop & Samples page for pricing.

 

Q: HOW DO I PAY?

A:  After we begin the drawing process, we will email you a rough sketch to see the overall pose & idea.  You will review & let us know your thoughts.  After you approve, we will email you a PayPal invoice.  Our goal is happy customers!  We will make adjustments & revisions to make your piece fantastic, but once you have approved the rough sketch, we cannot change the pose as it would require us to start over.

 

Q: Do you only draw dogs?

A:  We draw all types of pets & animals (and people too!)  Feel free to email us with your request or idea and we can collaborate to create the perfect piece for you!  We tend to get dog requests the most, but we are happy to draw cats, rabbits, horses, etc.
